Chi sono
Sono nato nel 1974 a Firenze e vivo in Italia. Sono sempre stato affascinato dalla fotografia, fin da piccolo ho iniziato a fotografare con la reflex di mio padre, così per gioco, perchè era semplicemente divertente poter vedere le cose in modo diverso attraverso l’obiettivo. In seguito è diventata una vera passione ed una professione. Dal 2005, fotografo quasi esclusivamente con una reflex digitale. Questo nuovo modo di fotografare mi ha dato ancora più stimoli e possibilità, lasciandomi seguire tutto il percorso creativo di ogni singola fotografia. Realizzo servizi fotografici per matrimoni in tutta Italia, book, fotografia d’interni e reportage. Collaboro spesso con studi fotografici che realizzano servizi di vario genere e soprattutto cerimonie. Lavoro prevalentemente su Firenze ma non ho limitazioni per gli spostamenti, anche all’estero.
Equipaggiamento
La qualità degli strumenti di lavoro per il fotografo, soprattutto con il digitale, è di importanza assoluta per ottenere immagini di qualità. Per questo motivo cerco di utilizzare al meglio la tecnologia che ho a disposizione. Credo che la capacità artistica del fotografo sia legata, e quindi influenzata, dalla conoscenza dei mezzi usati per esprimerla. La conoscenza tecnica rappresenta però solo la minima parte delle capacità di un buon fotografo. Quindi è necessaria ma assolutamente non sufficiente. Cerco sempre di avere con me la mia reflex quando mi muovo. Il fotografo deve essere sempre incuriosito da ciò che lo circonda e dovrebbe riuscire ad entrare nella situazione che sta vivendo per catturarne la propria visione. Il confronto e la continua ricerca di perfezionare il mio stile personale mi stimola ad evolvermi sia artisticamente che professionalmente.

La fotografia e internet sono due grandi mezzi di comunicazione e divulgazione. Ho creato questo spazio per il piacere di condividere la mia passione e soprattutto per avere l’opportunità di farmi conoscere. Ho da poco realizzato anche un’ international blog che vi invito a visitare!

Who I am
I was born in 1974 in Florence and I live in Italy. I have always been fashinated by photography, when I was young I used my father’s reflex camera, just because it was simply amusing to be able to see the things in a different way through the lens. Now, it has developed into a real passion and a profession. In 2005, I started to photograph exclusively with a digital reflex camera. This new way stimulates me even more and has given me more possibilities, allowing me to follow the whole creative process of every single photo. I provide photographic services for weddings in Italy and abroad, personal portrait books, architectural photography and reportages. I’m also work with other photographers that provide various kind of services but mainly for ceremonies. I mostly work in Florence but I don’t have travel limitations.
Equipment
The quality of the tools for the photographer, above all, talking about digital photography, it is of absolute importance to get quality images. For this, I try to do the best with the newest technology available. I believe that the artistic ability of the photographer is tied to, and therefore influenced, by the knowledge of the means used for expressing it. The technical knowledge represents only the least part of the abilities of a good photographer. However, it is necessary but absolutely not enough. I always try to have my camera with me when I travel. The photographer must always be interested in what surrounds him and he should involve himself in the situation to create his own vision. The comparison and the continuous research improves my personal style and stimulates me to evolve artistically and professionally.
